意大利经济以中小企业产业而著称，中小企业在其经济中占有十分重要的地位。第三届中国国际中小企业博览会暨中意中小企业博览会即将开幕之际，意大利Emilia Romagna 地区政府官员定于2006年9月14日在华南理工大学举办一场以“工业、工业政策、国际化政策、技术发展、竞争、中小企业以及Emilia Romagna 地区的实例”为主题的三个小时的报告会。本次论坛将有助于与会者了解意大利政府促进中小企业发展的政策，欢迎各级政府工作人员、企业家、关注中小企业发展的人士参加。
